Hearing God's Voice
Today is November 11th. 11/11. The significance is that I constantly see 11:11 when I turn my phone on. It's fun to tell the friend I'm with at that time that they are my "11:11 moment". This morning, I decided to start reading Jesus Always , a daily devotional recently given to me by my friend Michelle for my birthday. The back of the book talked about how the readings are about experiencing true joy. I felt an "ah-ha" moment. Joy is the word that God gave me for 2021 and my plan is to study this word throughout the new year. Such a God wink for Michelle to gift me a devotional about joy! I love all the ways that God speaks to us. It doesn't have to be audible. We hear God in different ways. He communicates to us through dreams, signs, songs, circumstances...
